So.... it's been a while, I know. Since I've blogged, since I've entered a challenge, and since I've even crafted! I do have a good excuse, though, and that is that I've been busy finishing up my coursework for my doctorate. The good news? The semester (from hell) is finally DONE and I'VE ADVANCED TO CANDIDACY!!! So, the doctorate isn't done yet, but the coursework for it is and I'm left with my dissertation recital to work on. YAY!!!!!
Oh yeah, and there's MORE big news....... I'm PREGNANT!!!! with baby no.1.
Bryce and I are SUPER excited about the baby! I'm finally far enough along that we could finally announce our happy news just days ago.
Here are the two baby pictures that I have so far. The first is when we had the pregnancy confirmed and our baby (which we are referring to as "BOB" (baby on board) for the time being) at which point I was only 4 weeks and 6 days along.
The second is from my first real pregnancy appointment at 7 weeks 5 days. We got to see BOB's heartbeat that day!
I had another appointment at 12 weeks exactly and, while I don't get any more pictures until the 20 week appointment, we did get to HEAR BOB's heartbeat for the first time, so that was exciting.
Something I didn't expect with being pregnant is how nervewracking it can be....constantly worrying that the baby is ok in there when you really can't feel or see much. Hopefully now that school is over I'll be able to relax a bit. Here's me at 13 weeks pregnant exactly (I am now 13 weeks 3 days.)
