Hi there, I'm back with a second entry to Lawnscaping's Dust 'em off challenge!
For this card, I dusted off my unused Critters in the Dog Park stamp set and my slightly used Belinda's Borders stamp set. I made a *mostly* one-layer card again, using the masking technique again to make some scalloped grass for the doggies to lay in. How have I not yet used this dog set?! - it's adorable!
After I stamped out my scene, I used my masks again to protect my images while I inked up the sky. I then colored everything with my new Spectrum Noir markers. Although the scene looked really cute to me, it still needed a bit more. So, I dusted off some clouds and a sun that I'd fussy cut months and months and months ago (left over from a previous project) and also found a smiling heart and a cute little bow that I'd already fussy cut out a while ago, and I thought it would look really sweet on one of the dogs. For a final touch, I used some black enamel to make the doggies' noses shiny and dimensional and used my clear Wink of Stella glitter brush on the sun. I love this sweet card!
SUPPLIES USED:
Aww, such a cute little scene! Isn't it great to use images that are already cut and colored?! Thanks for playing along with us at Lawnscaping!! :)
