Happy (belated) New Year, everybody! Welcome to my first blog post of 2014! What better way to get a belated start to blogging in the new year than a post featuring a belated birthday card?! Despite my best intentions, I never seem to get my birthday cards made in time for someone's actual birthday. Nevertheless, belated cards are better than no cards, right? I'm all about extending birthday celebrations as long as they can possibly be stretched out (I LOVE birthdays!) - plus, when the card finally does arrive, it's unexpected. Well, the first Lawnscaping Challenge of 2014 is to make a birthday card, so I had the perfect excuse to finally make a card for a very special friend and now I can send her package off in the mail finally! (By the way - Lawn Fawn is celebrating their fourth anniversary of business this month, yay!)
Since I was making a belated birthday card, I obviously had to dig out Lawn Fawn's year 2 belated birthday stamp set with the cute little turtle. I think my friend will be quite happy to get this card in the mail soon!
SUPPLIES USED:
hehe love the grass and all the balloons that the turtle has, adorable!
Thank you so much for playing with us at Lawnscaping challenges :)
