Hello again! I'm back again to share with you all my second entry to the current Lawnscaping Challenge, Pattern Paper Craze!
As with the last card, I dug through my Lawn Fawn scraps and found a ton of pumpkins, a couple of stamped but uncolored turkeys, and a speech bubble that already had Happy Turkey Day! stamped inside it, so I decided to put together a Thanksgiving-themed card.
After playing around a bit, I decided not to use the green grass; Instead I went through my bag of larger scraps and found the brown and blue polka dotted paper which I liked much better - especially since I'd already inked up the sky. The brown ground felt much more fall than the green, so I'll just use that on another card instead. (In case you're wondering why I had so many pumpkins already stamped and cut, check out this post from last year's Lawnscaping Fall Blog Hop!)
I'm in love with the Wink of Stella glitter brush pens but always forget to use them on my cards! Out of habit I'm always grabbing my Copics. So I decided the turkey would look super cute all sparkly. Other than that, I didn't have to do very much. I found a couple of cute little birds all ready to go in my stash and used a circle punch to create the sun. I popped up the turkey and the two small pumpkins for some dimension and voila! A cute Thanksgiving card using mostly elements I'd stamped and cut a year ago. Here's the finished card:
