Wow, January is nearly over and I'm only just now posting my first blog entry of 2013! I had the whole month off from school (up until today) and can you believe I've not made a single card yet this year??? I do have a small excuse and that is wedding planning - not that I've done too much of that either, but I've found an incredible seamstress to rework the back of my wedding dress so that it will fit again (long story) - so that's extremely important, obviously - and I have designed my save the dates and have been in the process of making a million (around 60) of each of the parts of it. So, I've been plenty busy crafting, just not on cards, although I do hope to get to that very soon as I've already accumulated a lot of Valentine's products and it's now just a couple of weeks away, ack!
I do have a card to share with you today, and it's one of my favorites and I've been meaning to post this for a few months now, as the recipient's birthday (my friend Hilde who I met online via Flickr) was back in October. I made it on time and then sent it weeks late, so it's a belated post for a belated birthday card. Better late than never, though! I used my favorite products, Lawn Fawn papers and stamp (the cake) with Paper Smooches stamps. I'm too lazy (sleepy, it's nearly 2am) to post links now, but one day I'm sure I will go back and add them in. Here is the card, isn't it fun???
