The current Lawnscaping Challenge is to make a project using a tag, or to just make a tag. Tomorrow is my niece-to-be's birthday, so I knit her a scarf and made a tag to attach to it so she would know it was handmade with love. I made kind of a double tag, and it's really cute, but it was a bit hard to photograph since I used both sides of both tags and then tied them together, so, here are the pics (taken in my dark basement...):
I decided to use the sheep since it was a knit gift. I had wanted to include a for ewe/from me sentiment, but these tags were too small. Oh well. It's still cute, but admittedly not very fancy, but since I've neer made a tag before I think that is just fine, lol. I used Lawn Fawn stamps (Critters on the Farm, Handmade with Love, Grand Greetings) and papers (Bright Side and Dewey Decimal) and Lawn Trimmings. The gift is in the mail headed to Georgia (where it does every once in a while get cold enough to wear a scarf.)
