Oh my gosh, I am running along a deadline here, but I just had to make another card for this challenge this evening after work. (Wow - my first challenge ever and I ended up making two entries!) I happen to think this is the best card ever, but I'm biased. I can't believe I made a masculine card - and, considering how few cards I've made in my life, I really can't believe this came out as awesome as it did. I totally love it! I'm going to give it to my fiance this weekend :)
Okay, so, as before - the link to the Lawnscaping challenge:

and the link to Kelly Marie's inspiration photo:

and now I present to you, my entry, I Pine For You:

Isn't it super cute? I will be back to edit this post and tell you the details in just a minute - I want to make sure I get it submitted on time. Here I go!
Okay, so I'm back - I officially submitted my second entry! Yay!
Okay, so... it's hard to tell in the photo, but some of the trees are adhered directly to the page, but a couple of them I put the 3D dots underneath to give them more dimension and make it look more like you're right in the forest. The front hedgehog also has a 3D dot underneath :)
Actually, here's another pic to give you a feel for the dimension:

Okay, so all the papers and stamps are from Lawn Fawn, which has quickly become my most favorite stamping company ever. Finally there are whimsical stamps out there that are totally my style, which is cutesy, just like Kelly's (the owner of the company.) I just want to give her a big hug for creating such adorable products! The papers are from the Bright Side 6x6 paper pack and the stamps are all from the Critters in the Forest collection. The brown paper is just plain kraft cardstock, which I used for the tree stumps and the hedgehogs and the bottoms of the mushrooms.
So, the mushroom background that I stamped is admittedly a little messy, but I was working fast trying to get the card finished. It's still cute. I did all the stamping with Colorbox Pigment Ink in Espresso.
I also did a very tiny bit of coloring with Copic Markers (C1: Cool Gray No.1; R24: Prawn; BV29: Slate)
I think I got everything... I really hope you love the card as much as I do!
